I was disappointed to download this and find t was just a game of single card draw, with whoever has the higher card winning a round of dueling, first to six. I had expected the players’ creativity to play a role in the resolution. Did I misunderstand something?
While the game *could* be played as nothing more than back-and-forth card draws for points, the card draw is only there to provide a light framework & resolution to the players' descriptions. The real play unfolds in those descriptions, where players are encouraged to be as creative and elaborate as they're inspired to be.
I don't normally leave comments on -- too many bad experiences in the early days of the Internet. But it's a new year, so I thought I'd try something new. And it's always nice to hear from the folks who enjoyed one of the things I've made.

It gives me a similar mood to The Raven film — that kind of creative spell duel.
If you haven’t seen it, it might resonate with this vibe. ●
